Making chocolate milk on the counter

On March 27th, Brad let Jack sit on the kitchen counter as they made chocolate milk together. It was so cute, I took this picture. Today, after they played with blocks and made noodles together, Jack whispered in my ear that he wanted Dad to sit on the counter with him and make chocolate milk again. Yes, Yea! Jack got to sit on the counter again! The priviledges of being four years old are great!

Exploring

This spring we are big enough and brave enough to explore the wilderness in the large empty lot next door. Crawling through the tall grass...
climbing up the steep hill...

We found this! A brand new baby butterfly!
It's wings were still too wet to fly. We took turns holding it and we then put it back in the grass. We marvelled at how lucky we were to hold it.
And we marvelled that it was still there and we could hold it again after I ran back into the house to get the camera!

The simple things in life bring us the most joy!

FHE is for teaching

In FHE lesson Mom tries to explain the Godhead to four year old Jack, "So first, is Heavenly Father. Second, is Jesus. Third, is...."

"Dad!" Jack shouts.
