Hatdy Muttoes Day!

Thank you, Brad for helping me so much to get ready to host the book club. Thank you for taking Jack on a two-hour four-wheeler ride and hiking to the waterfalls and letting Jack throw as many rocks as he wants to. Thank you for whacking Jack with the blow up bat like he hoped you would and playing chase with it like he wished you would, even though you were so tired. Thank you for reading to him and listening to him read to you. I am so lucky!!!

I did have a wonderful Mother's Day! This is the first year that Jack really understood a little about it and tried to show love for me. It was sweet how he handed me his card and hugged me "Hatdy Muttoes Day!" and looked at me with a tender vulnerablility that melted my heart. I hope I always remember it!
