Sledding

I LOVE to look in the rearview mirror and see Jack's cute little face looking back at me! I try to cherish each moment with Jack and I can in the car especially when we are on our way to a fun place, like sledding! This is Jack's cool, new sled. Last time we came sledding here, we watched some older boys sledding on a similar sled. One of the boys kindly offered Jack a turn on his awesome sled. Jack loved it, so we bought this one!

I hope to never forget this day! Jack loved his new sled! We watched as a young Samoan family came to sled with two little disc sleds. They had three children. We heard the mom tell one of the boys, "Now it's your brother's turn and you miss two turns." Jack told me he wanted his old sled. It was in the car just in case we needed it, so I went and got it. Jack told me to give it to the family. "I not need it anymore." We told them that they could borrow it and when they weren't looking, we snuck away giggling. I was so proud of Jack and his generosity! It brought tears to my eyes that he would notice them and come up with a plan to help them. It was all his idea!!
